The 3D/4D ultrasound was amazing! It is so cool that you can see your baby's face. If I do say so myself he is adorable and we can't wait to meet him.
The Diabetes Test
The gestational diabetes test was the same day as the ultrasound. I got up at 7:15 and starting drinking my orange sugar drink. I had to drink it all in 5 minutes and half way through I really thought I was going to puke. I will say that making sure that the drink is cold is key to keeping it down. So as soon as I finished the drink, showered, and got dressed we were on our way to the doctor's office. We had to make it there within 1 hour of finishing the drink to have my blood drawn. I was nauseous and had to pee the entire way and it took us 15 minutes longer than usual because of 8:00 traffic. Thank God we left earlier than usual. We made it on time and the nurse took my blood first thing.
A few days later we got the results...my iron levels were normal and no diabetes. I feel so blessed to have had no major issues thus far and hope to deliver a healthy boy in about 8 weeks.

I am glad you got a good report and didn't throw up! It is awesome how clearly you can see the little ones on the ultrasounds. I love it as well! Praying for you during these next few weeks.
